The American Architectural Foundation and Target are pleased to announce the winners of the Redesign Your School Contest.
Selected from hundreds of entries, these high school students from across the country submitted exemplary designs showing ideas for the schools of the future. $45,000 in college scholarships will be awarded to the grand prize winner and the seven finalists on November 5th in Washington.
The Redesign Your School Contest has been the largest national design competition open to high school students. Every year, the United States spends billions of dollars building new schools, yet rarely are students ever asked for their opinion. We chose, through this contest, to give voice to the creative visions of these young people.
The list below does not provide last names to protect the privacy of the participating students. All winners will be notified of their status and award by mail.
