September 10, 2008 – The American Architectural Foundation is proud to announce DAR Constitution Hall as the location of the 20th Annual Accent on Architecture Gala. On February 6, 2009, nearly 1,000 leaders of the architecture profession will gather in the eighty year old Washington landmark to honor the achievements of modern design. The American Architectural Foundation will present the Keystone Award to an organization outside the profession that champions the value of design, and the American Institute of Architects will present its highest honors: the AIA Gold Medal, the Firm of the Year Award, and the 25-Year Award.
